How is it we've come to this point in time? We have declared war on Iraq, and most of the world does not support us. I have to think, why is it that no one supports this move? Or is it (and the more likely) that the world simply does not support America? We really have become tyrannical in many ways-- we enforce our own economic values on the world, we force capitalism into places where they don't want capitalism, we place troops in places the people don't want troops, we get our way at the UN whenever we want. We have become a bully, to such a point that very few American Citizens can admit that anyone else has a point of view. American's believe that we have been the victims of a brutal terrorist attack and now they must pay. Well, how about all the other countries that have been the vicitms of terrorits? How about all the countries that America terrorized? We are not the shining city on the hill, we have participated in more than our share of dictatorship.

Yet, I cannot simply dismiss this war. While we have pushed people around, we have not murdered millions of ou own people. We have not ignored our own people. We do have many freedoms in this country. The people of Iraq do not. Saddam should be removed. But who will replace him? I don't know. I don't know that anything we do will truly halp Iraq because the people there are opposed or do not understand what AMerica is doing.

I can only pray that this will come to a peaceful end. I will continue to pray for peace, and I will continue to pray for our troops. Support Peace,
Support the Troops.
