Surprises





Yeah, don't have to stress anymore. *grin* We are going to have a baby! I'm 8 weeks along, we had our first ultrasound yesterday and everything looked great. Heartbeat was strong and clear and we got a great view of baby, tiny little appendages and all. My due date is September 9. We are pretty damn excited!

I like the idea of the 8th much better than the 11th. :)

So yeah, no eventing aspirations for me this year, but I have been thinking I might follow Windy's lead and teach the Big Red Horse to pull a cart.

The one time I got to drive a horse, it was a Saddlebred. Not as good as riding (IMO), but laying the groundwork for eventual combined driving might be a blast...;)

Definitely not as good as riding, but at least it's something for us to do. :)
